Bali Leaders Scholarship 2017
All participants must make themselves aware of the terms and conditions and accept the risks associated with the course activities. Each guest must be responsible for taking out the appropriate medical (specifically covering hospitalization costs overseas), personal accident, travel, holiday and cancellation insurance for the full duration of the retreat, this is a condition of participating in the retreat.
Henare and Kate O’Brien Ltd. known and referred to hereafter as HKOB Ltd. accepts bookings subject to the following conditions as laid out below.
A contract for the services is made between HKOB Ltd. and the participant on the issue of a written conﬁrmation of booking by HKOB Ltd. The contract is subject to these booking conditions which the participant has been deemed to have read and fully understood. These booking conditions can only be varied by written agreement between HKOB Ltd. and the participant.
The scholarship can ONLY be accepted in WHOLE and not in PART. The retreat and all the bonuses that come with it (eg: accommodation rebate, 2016 Summit Super Pack) can only be claimed after payment of the balance not covered by the scholarship.
All scholarship offers will expire at 5pm (GMT+8) 9th June 2017 unless claimed prior to this date/time.
To place a booking with HKOB Ltd., HKOB Ltd. require a completed booking form. For second prize scholarship winners, one of the pay options offered must be selected and processed within the allocated Scholarship time period. All bookings are provisional and are only conﬁrmed when the full payment or 1st payment (if on Pay Plan) has cleared HKOB Ltd.’s bank account. HKOB Ltd. reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion.
Upon the successful payment of the program fee by the participant a contract is formed for the agreed program to be delivered, If the participant wishes to alter any aspect of the program additional reasonable costs may be levied by HKOB Ltd at their discretion.
The full retreat fee is payable according to the payment option you have selected. If pay plan option is chosen, payments need to be made on a timely manner. If payments are more than 7 days overdue, $100 admin fee may be added as well as interest on overdue amounts. In the event that the balance is not paid within 6 weeks of course commencing (6 weeks prior to 30th October 2017), HKOB Ltd. will have the discretion to treat the booking as cancelled by the participant and to re-sell the course place, the fee paid by the participant will be retained by HKOB Ltd.
All prices are quoted in USD.
It is the participant’s responsibility to inform HKOB Ltd. in writing of any health issues that may make them unsuitable to participate in the retreat. Failure to disclose any such information may result in HKOB Ltd. terminating the contract and withdrawing the participant from the services without refund.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure that the balance for the cost of their retreat place is paid in full and on time as per the terms set out by HKOB Ltd.
All 2017 GameChanger Scholarship offers will expire at 5pm (GMT+8) 9th June 2017 unless claimed prior to this date/time.
Scholarships are non-redeemable for cash.
It is at the sole discretion of HKOB Ltd. how many scholarships opportunities are made available. We may choose to increase the number of 1st and/or 2nd prize scholarships available at any time without notice.

There are a limited number of Second Prize Scholarship Opportunities available. People will be selected and offered a second prize scholarship based on quality of applications.
Included in the 1st and 2nd prize scholarship, is a ‘Bring a Friend To Bali’ ticket. This means that you can nominate a friend who can also receive a full ticket to GameChangerLive Bali 5 Day Event. We reserve the right to decline any person at our discretion. The ‘bring a friend to bali’ ticket is only valid for GameChangerLive Bali 2017 and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another event at another date.
With the 1st Prize Scholarship to “Bring a Friend To Bali”, your nominated & approved friend will receive a full scholarship covering their full ticket excluding their ‘Room Fee’ cost. Please note, the nominated ‘friend’ will only have to pay a $500 ‘Room Fee’ which covers the ‘per head cost’ to the venue and includes daily buffet lunch. ‘Room Fee’ is due.
With 2nd Prize Scholarship to “Bring a Friend To Bali”, your nominated/approved friend will receive a full scholarship covering their full ticket excluding their ‘Room Fee’. Please note, the nominated ‘friend’ will only have to pay a $500 ‘Room Fee’ which covers the ‘per head cost’ to the venue and includes daily buffet lunch. ‘Room Fee’ is due.
The 'Bring a Friend' ticket cannot be used for someone who is a VIP OR who received a 2017 Scholarship Opportunity, UNLESS they are your partner. You are welcome to use the 'bring a friend' ticket for someone who is within VIP or who received a 2017 scholarship opportunity if they are your partner.
Your 'Bring a Friend' chosen person must be paid for by 1 August 2017. The chosen person's details must be submitted and approved before 1st August 2017, along with their $500 'Room Fee' paid, via the 'Bring A Friend' submission page to confirm their space. Their space is not confirmed until this happens.
HKOB Ltd. reserves the right to change any price or other particulars of the services before the contract becomes binding.
If there is a major change HKOB Ltd. shall notify the participant forthwith, HKOB Ltd. shall seek to offer the participant arrangements as close to the original as it is reasonably possible in the circumstances. If there is any other change other than a major change HKOB Ltd. is not obliged to inform the participant in advance or obliged to pay any compensation.
HKOB Ltd. reserves the right to change the venue of where the retreat is hosted.
If you wish to cancel your participation you must advise us in writing as soon as reasonably possible. Any cancellation of the contract will be subject to the following cancellation charges:

The contract may be assigned by the participant to a third party subject at all times to conditions.
The participant is unable to assign or transfer the contract to a third party without the prior written consent of HKOB Ltd., if the participant wishes to assign their contract, he or she must give notice in writing providing the full name, address and contact details of the third party. HKOB Ltd. shall then advise in writing as to if it consents to the assignment as soon as is reasonably possible. HKOB Ltd. reserves the right to refuse an assignment to a third party at any time and without reason, If subsequently a participant has to cancel due to HKOB Ltd. refusing the assignment to a third party then the cancellation charges under “cancellation by the participant ” shall apply.
HKOB Ltd. may assign or sub contract to any third party the performance of any of its obligations under the contract without consent of the participant.
HKOB Ltd. reserves the right to alter the content of the services at any time without notice to the participant due to certain factors, including, but not limited to the weather, staff, and any physical ﬁtness of the participants. Any information on / about our services published by HKOB Ltd. for its literature and web site is designed for illustrative purposes only.
If the participant elects not to participate in any of the services being provided, HKOB Ltd. has no obligation to provide an alternative activity or service and the participant will not be entitled to a refund.
If HKOB Ltd. believes that a participant’s health and safety is at risk, or a participant has failed to disclose any relevant health information in accordance with our terms and conditions, HKOB Ltd. may at its absolute discretion make decisions affecting the participants and where necessary may terminate the contract immediately.
The participant must refrain from any illegal act or any conduct which may give offense or cause danger or damage to any person or property. If HKOB Ltd. or any of its staff, consultants or agents become aware of any such action then HKOB Ltd. or any of its suppliers may at their absolute discretion have the participant immediately removed from any property or facility without refund. HKOB Ltd. will have no liability to the participant under such circumstances.
If there is a problem during the services, the participant must report it in the ﬁrst instance to the HKOB Ltd.’s team. In the unlikely event that the problem can not be resolved and the participant wishes to make a complaint then the participant must notify HKOB Ltd. in writing within 30 days of the end of the services. Failure to provide notice of the complaint in accordance with the above will preclude the participant from being entitled to take any further action against HKOB Ltd.
HKOB Ltd. will not offer accommodations for retreat durations. There will be no maid service offered.
None of the exclusions and limitations in these conditions are intended to limit any rights the participant may have under statute or common law which may not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit liability to the participant for personal injury or death resulting from HKOB Ltd. negligence or that of it’s employees or agents, or for any liability incurred as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by HKOB Ltd.
The participant understands that attending any activity or service provided by HKOB Ltd. involves some level of risk. These risks include but are not limited to physical injury or even death. By attending any activity or service provided by HKOB Ltd. the participant agrees to assume these risks and agrees to release and discharge HKOB Ltd. and its Directors, employees,and agents from any and all claims for liability.
Neither HKOB Ltd. nor any of its Directors, employees or agents will be liable for any loss or damage to any personal property or vehicle belonging to the participant during the services.
***It is the sole responsibility of the participant to purchase full and adequate medical, personal injury, travel, and holiday insurance for the full duration of their stay with HKOB Ltd.
All guests must refrain from any illegal act or any conduct unbecoming a retreat guest, conduct or language which may give offense to a team member or guest or any act which may cause damage to property. If HKOB Ltd. or any of its staff, consultants or agents become aware of any such act / conduct then HKOB Ltd. & its agents may, at their absolute discretion, ask the participant to leave the premises, property or facility, this will be without refund to the guest, in these circumstances HKOB Ltd. will have no further responsibility or liability to the guest.
HKOB Ltd. reserve the right to take any recordings of the participant during the services, and the participant accepts that all rights whatsoever arising in the recordings shall be solely owned by HKOB Ltd.
The participant accepts and agrees that any recordings may be used by HKOB Ltd. at its absolute discretion in any manner, including but not limited to its website, promotional material and advertisements.
HKOB Ltd. is committed to producing a high quality event, including bringing original Material to Participants. HKOB Ltd. does not give any assurances or guarantees to Participants for achieving any speciﬁc results in your life as a result of participating. Results include personal, career, spiritual, social, physical, emotional, mental, or lifestyle results, such as ﬁnancial results. HKOB Ltd. and our speakers, in sharing on or offstage and in video their words, knowledge, experiences and perspectives, are not coaching, promising or inducing you to any general or speciﬁc outcomes and are not liable for any way in which you may interpret or act upon the Material.
HKOB Ltd. reserves all copyright which may subsist in the products of, or in connection with, the provision of all activities, services or facilities. HKOB Ltd. reserves the right to take such actions as it deems appropriate or necessary to restrain or prevent infringement of such copyright.
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with New Zealand law, and the parties shall submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.
